Erin McMillin’s music is guided by a sense of place. Growing up in Denver, Colorado, she was inspired by bluebird skies and wide open spaces. At 18, she moved to Tacoma, Washington where she found endless inspiration in the vast water and cathedral forests of the Pacific Northwest.
Erin McMillin’s debut album, My True Companion, tells her story of leaving home and searching for her own path. It was written in forests, fields, and open windows and recorded in bedrooms, basements, and a 3’ by 5’ closet.
