Glasgow's rhinestone cowgirl, Erin Ponsonby, is being recognised as one of Scotland's emerging country artists and has been paving her way onto the UK country scene since the release of her debut EP ‘Little Town’ in 2020. After headlining Broadcast Glasgow with her new backing band in 2022, more recently Erin has played at some of the UK country music scene's most iconic festivals such as Country to Country in OVO Hydro (2024/2025), Country on the Clyde, the Buck N Bull Summer of Country Festival in London and the King Tuts Summer Nights Festival. Erin has become a familiar face since regularly playing in Glasgow's first Nashville themed bar, Maggie's Rock N Rodeo, where she'll also be found line dancing in the Hoedown bar. With her name becoming more known within the industry through headline shows and supporting fellow artists, Erin's country-pop style is reaching audiences across Glasgow and beyond. She recently played her biggest show to date at the iconic Glasgow Barrowlands to a crowd of 2,000 supporting Luke Combs UK, and gained a great response from fans while playing her single 'Cowboy King' along with her new single 'Country Side of Town'.
