I’m Erin, and I’m a music therapist. I think music is such a powerful tool for healing. My last release Charlotte was that for me! It is about my friend who totally saw how much I was in pain when so many other people around me didn’t believe that I had been hurt by a boy on our campus. The friendship that came with this friend was just so healing and beautiful because I believe we saw each other: the other’s pain, joy, strengths, and even weaknesses.
I hope you enjoy listening to Charlotte, because it was something that helped me turn my shame into something that made me feel proud of myself.
