Ermos

Ermos is a metalcore/alternative metal band from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Founded by Vagner Pavani and formed by Lucas Mendes(bass), Alexandre de Freitas(guitar) and Hugo Rezende(drums).
Ermos is the culmination of years experimenting and evolving as a musicians. After years looking for ways of expressing themselves with music, they found a way to create thier signature sound with a mix of brazilian and pop influences, meaning to distinguish themselves from other metal projects and get away from traditional formulas of the genre.
In thier songs, they makes little detours from the metal song structure, from brazilian funk to samba, which means to give a brazilian flavor to the work, in a genre that is dominated by foreign trends.
The project’s first single, “Empire”, bursts a sense of anxiety that permeates the search for trying to find themselves in this area, pondering over thier struggles and fighting thier own demons to establish themselves on the goals they're trying to accomplish.
