Colombian techno/pop band Estados Alterados was formed in the late '80s by singer Fernando Sierra, also known as Elvis, keyboardist Tato, and drummer Mana, who unfortunately passed away after a car accident, being replaced by Ricardo Restrepo, aka Ricky. After issuing a self-titled album featuring the hit single "Muevete," the group recorded Cuarto Acto, produced by Richard Blair in 1994. When guitarist Camilo Zuleta joined in, Estados Alterados made Rojo Sobre Rojo, produced by Federico López, released by independent Discos Fuentes in 1995. The band joined similar Latin rock acts in 1999 to make a the Cure tribute album called Tributo a the Cure - Por Qué No Puedo Ser Tú, covering "A Forest." ~ Drago Bonacich
