Esther Von Haze (Turnhout, 1991) is a Belgian singer who has developed a great love for music at a young age. She moved to Amsterdam at the age of 21 where she met producers Nelson and Djosa.
For her debut album Von Haze worked in the studio together with Nelson and Djosa for over more than 1 year. A new sound consisting of a mix of avant-garde and retro pop, with acoustic instruments blended with electronic sounds was developed. This sound combined with Esther’s virtuoso voice appears filmic and exotic.
Singers like Kate Bush, Regina Spektor and St. Vincent inspire Von Haze.
The first single "Garden of Eden" acquired over 250 000 plays on Spotify since it release.
