"For All The Dust" (Ambient Folk), the debut album of Norwegian singer/songwriter and multiinstrumentalist Esthére, is a diary-shaped story of the artist's own life. It seems dark at times (End of the World), when you push people away that you wanted close (Dust In Your Eyes) - but most often life is beautiful and worth celebrating (Up and Beyond). Together with co-producer and composer Kaspar Kaae (DK), the album is recorded and produced in Copenhagen, Denmark. By keeping the crew small (drums: Bendik Andersson ("Hard Time", "Where to go", "End of the World"), bass: Tobias Måsvær Rosenkrands ("For You")), the sound is intimate and realistic when conveying the vulnerability behind each song. Writing mostly on guitar, Esthére tries to experiment with the 'correct' way of playing - keeping close to the initial feeling of the musical idea. The result is ten quite raw and simple songs, straight from Esthéres heart, to tell you a story of her own life.
