Eternal real name Roderick Harrison born (September 30, 1979) in the cold streets of New Orleans, Louisiana and raised by his mother (Nancy Harrison) and father (Robert Addison) in the 9th ward. As a youngster growing up in New Orleans, Eternal adapted to the street life. The constant presence of drug dealing, robberies, and murders is what ultimately influenced his music, and by the age 15 he recorded his first record “Only the Strong Survive”.
The name Eternal comes from the struggle and pain of growing up in the streets of New Orleans. Eternal states,
“I then been through it all. Hell and back and I’m still here. I’m going to live on through my kids and their kids. Forever living.”

In 2005 Eternal had a part in the Universal movie, “The Skeleton Key” starring Kate Hudson; and also has contributed a song to the movies soundtrack “Bounce that Thing”. By August of that year Eternal moved to Houston, Texas due to Hurricane Katrina. Even after Katrina; Eternal continued on with his music, including starting his own record label Pain Musik Entertainment in 2012.
He is now working on his debut album “My Struggle, My Pain”. The album is the story of everything he has gone through in life growing up in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Eternal’s main focus is putting out real music for the world.
