A self-taught guitarist and lifelong musician, Ethan Burke began writing and recording his own music in fall of 2023 as a sophomore in high school, heavily inspired by different facets of folk, indie, and punk music. His debut single, <a href="spotify:album:6tQtDIW3lwZfnlVw4tZoBY" data-name="Synapse">Synapse</a>, part of an EP released in June of 2024, Fracture, features the staples of the indie punk genre - distorted tones, roaring vocals, and punchy instrumentals - and captures feelings of desperation and emotion. His newest single, Smile, distances itself from the punk genre, showcasing and fronting a rich indie sound.
