Ethan James Young is a Utah-based, Pop, RnB, EDM, music producer. Over the years, he has taken an experimental approach to his music while still respecting traditions in established genres such as Jazz, Old School Hip-Hop, 80s Synthwave, Acoustic, Funk, and more.
When writing and producing music, Ethan’s goal is to make meaningful, reflective music. This can best be shown in one of his most recent singles “I Want You in My Room”, a song about what the afterlife could be like and what that may mean for a loved one. In the same song, his style of music production is also apparent as he arranges lush orchestral strings/pianos with atypical snaps, synthesizers, clock noises, and ethnic instruments to make an emotionally impactful song. "I Want You in My Room" and his 14 other singles are available on Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, and most other streaming services. For Ethan, genre doesn’t matter.
As much as he may think “outside-of-the-box” when making music, Ethan is still able to work with specific sounds/genres, enough that he has been an asset to others especially on projects such as “Clara” By Ruble, “Songs I wrote” By Zach Atherton, and “Nothing to Lose” by Cays.
Ethan looks forward to releasing more “out-of-the-box”, experimental Pop/RnB music and collaborating with a variety of other musicians/artists in the future.
