Eva Jumatate competed in Melodifestivalen 2026, performing in the heat held in Kristianstad on February 14 – on her home turf. With her entry written by Herman Gardarfve, Marlene Strand, Ruth Lindegren and Eva Jumatate herself, she advanced to the qualification final, which took place on February 28 in Sundsvall.
In addition to Melodifestivalen, it has also been announced that Eva will join the Diggiloo 2026 summer tour.
In 2019, Eva made her first TV debut on Talang on TV4, where she reached the final and ultimately placed in the top three. Her performance also gained international attention when Global Got Talent and Kids Got Talent highlighted her act on their platforms. That same year, she appeared as a guest performer on Lotta på Liseberg and Bingolotto.
Eva’s talent has also led her to several roles in theatre and drama. In 2019, she played the lead role of Matilda in the musical at Malmö Opera, and also performed in the children’s choir in Tosca. The following year, she starred in the SVT series KÄR and portrayed the character Anja in the SVT series Klassen. Her theatre credits also include roles such as Tamika in School of Rock and Alice in Alice in Wonderland at Kristianstad Theatre.
With great focus, determination and an impressive list of achievements, Eva Jumatate continues to grow as an artist. Following her successful run in Melodifestivalen 2026 and with the Diggiloo 2026 tour ahead, she is set for an eventful year.
