Evan Henry is a Canadian singer-songwriter and composer based out of southern Alberta. Music has always been a big part of Evan’s life and growing up he was encouraged to take lessons on piano before also studying bass and electric guitar. He was exposed to many different musical genres including classical, jazz, rock, blues, funk, and east-coast folk music. In the fall of 2022, he began studying songwriting at Prairie College under the direction of composer and pianist, Denis Baptista. During this time, Evan has been writing songs and working towards recording a 5 song EP titled “Mr. Optimist” which is scheduled to be released on May 31st, 2024. As part of this production, Evan had the privilege of writing and arranging parts for a jazz ensemble and a string orchestra. His first single "Shadows Dancing (In My Head)" released April 19th 2024.
