Evan Ryan Canady

In the spring of 2024, after an almost 12 year hiatus, Evan felt the urge to start playing music again. This time, the plan was to teach himself how to play the piano with the understanding that it would be only for fun. The days of playing shows and touring are not even a blip on the old radar. Within the first 60 days of playing piano, Evan wrote his first song, A Day In The Life, the title track for his first solo album. Throughout the summer of 2024, Evan wrote and recorded, in his home office studio, all of the tracks for his first full length solo album A Day In The Life.

After the release of A Day In The Life, Evan wasted no time before starting the work on his second full length album Trials and Tribulations. After purchasing a new 8 string guitar he knew immediately this was the sound and style this album would be based upon. From February through May of 2025 he wrote and recorded all the tracks for Trials and Tribulations, again, in his home office studio. With the help of his brother Aaron Canady on the post-production mixing and mastering this album became bigger than either of them expected. With the heavy low end guitars, sweeping piano, symphonic underlay, ripping guitar solos, and a zest of vocal harmonies, Trials and Tribulations is sure to invigorate any and all who have a love for music.
