Evanjack is the musical conception of London based songwriter Scott Cousins who ignited a passion for music after discovering his father’s dusty vinyl collection in the attic of his childhood home. Listening to the likes of Bob Dylan and Graham Nash led to him picking up a guitar & teaching himself how to write songs from an early age.

Evanjack has been gathering a loyal following with the people who stumble across his unique brand of alternative folk & his emotive live performances that range from moments of quiet, captivating beauty & drift into endings of epic crescendo. Evanjack has gained influence & comparison to artists such as Radiohead, Bon Iver & Dry the River.

Evanjack has a series of single releases planned for the near future. As the band has naturally diminished down to a solo project Evanjack has focused on producing in his studio while keeping an open collaborative element.

“I love the freedom that collaboration and working in a home studio can offer in terms of creativity. The challenge then becomes how to replicate these new sounds as a solo artist live on stage.”
