Born in 1995 in North Carolina and now based in Los Angeles, multi-instrumentalist eve has been shaping her own corner of progressive metal since 2015. After an early teacher told her to quit guitar, she doubled down, eventually studying at Berklee College of Music and co-founding Myth of I. The band became known for a technical yet cinematic vision, releasing their self-titled debut on The Artisan Era in 2020 and the dual EP “Blood/Stream” in 2023-2025.
A songwriter, producer, and musical storyteller, eve builds music around organic evolution and open-ended structure. Her work draws from film and game composers like Joe Hisaishi and Keiichi Okabe, and from players such as Tosin Abasi, Guthrie Govan, and Sean Malone, blending fluid fretless bass textures, 8-string guitar vocabulary, and detailed sound design.
In 2022 she joined Quadvium after being invited by fretless icon Jeroen Paul Thesseling. Alongside Steve DiGiorgio and Yuma van Eekelen, she wrote, co-produced, and mixed the band’s debut album “Tetradōm,” released via Agonia Records in 2025. She remains active in both Myth of I and Quadvium, continuing to push instrumental progressive metal into new territory.
eve’s solo work reveals a more intimate dimension, merging influences from Coheed and Cambria to underscores with elements of hyperpop and cinematic ambience, offering a reflective counterpoint to her heavier output.
