Evert Snyman is a longtime fixture in the South African music scene — a genre-bending multi-instrumentalist, producer, and frontman of Evert Snyman & The Aviary. Blending psych rock, garage, and alternative, his music is entirely self-produced at Pariah Studios in Johannesburg. He’s received four SAMA nominations for his work both as a solo artist and producer. He produced and performed on The Devil’s Cattle by Ruff Majik, and recently launched AC/ES, a collaborative project with South African rock icon Arno Carstens.

His solo albums include The Aviary (2019), Hot Mess (2021), Pruning in the Dark (2022), All Killer Filler (2023), and the upcoming Alien Heart (2025).
