Evie's life has always revolved around music. Her father taught her how to sing karaoke when she was four years old, and he saw potential in her. Evie started entering local singing contests and even auditioned for Season 3 of The Voice Kids. At the age of 14, Evie began writing songs in her bedroom, influenced by indie folk and dream pop. She enjoys telling stories through her songs, as if she were living them through her creative mind and vast imagination. She is fascinated by extraterrestrials and enjoys stargazing. In fact, her artist name was inspired by the Disney film The Princess and the Frog, in which Ray the firefly falls in love with a star named Evangeline.
