Based in West Yorkshire, singer/songwriter Evie Gallagher has been writing songs since the young age of 9 and performing at gigs since the age of around 13 years old. Back in school, Evie had always taken an interest in writing poetry, which would later be the catalyst into what began her songwriting journey. Evie's influence with writing lyrics derive from personal experience and how they've impacted her; she writes about her experiences in a way that allows people to relate to them and build their own stories from them. Her singles "Up at Night" and "Stay a Little Longer" have both found their spot on the BBC Introducing In West Yorkshire show with Alan Raw. Evie was due to support Jake Bugg in March 2020, but the Covid-19 outbreak meant it had to be postponed.
