Evil Singing Pandas

<a href="spotify:artist:0dLbjUfc1fd0rnskRzrZrN" data-name="Evil Singing Pandas">Evil Singing Pandas</a> (ESP) was founded by Remy Evilpanda (Singapore) in 2010, with an intention of playing Thrash Metal music with some seriously badass humour.

Through various manifestations with numerous line-up changes ESP played hard rock, heavy metal covers and even acoustic-unplug sets. Remy held on to the name ESP with all his might through the years, until late 2015 when he met Rex Viperon maestro from Thai Black Metal Band, <a href="spotify:artist:6V8rLPluqCYwCOxvjaBVvK" data-name="DEI TETRA">DEI TETRA</a>.

The two spoke at length and decided to go at it, and launched their first 5 tracks EP “<a href="spotify:album:70eFT6OykNvJieUgaN0CLw" data-name="Descendants of Angels &amp; Lions">Descendants of Angels &amp; Lions</a>” in April 2017.

The EP was laden with fast, aggressive yet melodic guitar works and angry-barking vocals as if chastising deities and gods. However, beneath all the aggression and hostility lies an innocent but wicked sense of humour.

This would be ESP’s formula in music making in the following years and opportunities with collaborating with some of the most fascinating names including <a href="spotify:artist:3GOMPmE3jnaoh74rgsTTlI" data-name="Laang">Laang</a> from Keelung, Taiwan, Daniel <a href="spotify:artist:1R2Y8cvGWPrQjSJz598nIg" data-name="VRANGSINN">VRANGSINN</a> from Norway of the <a href="spotify:artist:0sFntmE9T1tiF6G6O6Lm3H" data-name="Carpathian Forest">Carpathian Forest</a> fame, Ex-bassist of <a href="spotify:artist:6KDc0SB4ero6zAgrafjVrt" data-name="Defiled">Defiled</a>, Hiroaki Sato from Japan (Aka <a href="spotify:artist:1YzYpguWRB4KVaBmYJYsvg" data-name="SATOKIN">SATOKIN</a>) and Lance the King of Black Metal from Gary, Indiana, USA (Aka <a href="spotify:artist:1RSnd1hTcidNEZ1MW3pJtF" data-name="Dave Hill">Dave Hill</a>) from <a href="spotify:artist:4o8bl4jAgjHuDRjDrJeZ3u" data-name="Witch Taint">Witch Taint</a>.

The latest offering “<a href="spotify:album:3hvSrqxorVdwYX7HAaGIJ2" data-name="We Are The Mighty Eagles">We Are The Mighty Eagles</a>” (WATME) is a song officially endorsed by Singapore Premier League Team Geylang International Football Club as their official Anthem, composed by Remy. <a href="spotify:artist:3GOMPmE3jnaoh74rgsTTlI" data-name="Laang">Laang</a> took helm on all instruments in this one, and WATME would also end ESP’s 12 year journey.
