Evils is electronic music artist James Hale from Cardiff, Wales. His first release was 2005's Pig Fucker EP which made number 12 in Radio 1 John Peel's Festive Fifty. Live Radio 1 sessions from BBC's Maida Vale studios and Cardiff's Barfly followed, as well as live performances at festivals such as Green Man and Swn Festival. He's also supported many artists like Ladytron, Islet, DJ Scotch Egg and Kid Carpet. In 2006 he released the "Give Me Evils" EP on Peski Records, followed by his debut album "Hello Children Everywhere" released on Shape Records in 2009.
Together with fellow Welsh musician Geraint Ffrancon, he curated "Electroneg 1000", a compilation of Welsh electronic artists, released in 2011 on their own label Electroneg. As well as Ffrancon and Evils, it featured tracks by Super Furry Animals' Cian Ciaran, Plyci and Zwolf.
