With a passion for authenticity and a willingness to stand out, Bay Area rapper, producer and performer Excalibur delivers a range of sounds and messages through his music. Born in Vallejo, California, but a native of Suisun City, Excalibur had an isolated childhood; his expression towards others was limited, until he found a passion for music. His influences range from hip-hop icons like Lil Wayne, Mac Dre and Kendrick Lamar to the softer sounds of indie, folk and lofi.
In 2017 he uploaded his first single to SoundCloud, followed by many more that same year, with his first EP, "King of Hearts" coming in mid 2018. Throughout 2019 he released multiple EPs: "50 Reasons to Smile", "707" and "Summer Slaps Vol. 1", displaying his range of genres: from soft spoken indie and experimental sounds, to west coast inspired beats and intricate rap verses. These releases all led up to his debut album, "STARCHILD", which released in late February 2020 and puts his full range of sounds on display. A true artist at heart, Excalibur wants nothing more than to make music that speaks to those in pain, uplifts the lost and is true to himself.
