Except One

Except One is a modern death metal band formed in Paris, (France) in 2011 by singer Estelle and guitarist Junior.

The group now has 5 members: Estelle on vocals, Junior on rhythm guitar, Tim on lead guitar / back vocals, Kael on bass and Naty on drums.

In 2013 and 2015 the band released theirs two firsts melodic death metal EP, which was very well received by the press, giving them a solid fan base.

This is followed by a more mature 1st album (Fallen released in 2018) allowing them to share the stage with some big names in the industry such as: #Jinjer, #Lacuna Coil, #Dagoba, #Betraying the Martyrs and a European tour with #Hatesphere.


With their latest and second album Broken released in 2022, Except one cleverly mixes modern death and death core in order to obtain a dark and powerful LP. Estelle lead singer alternates from high-pitched scream to powerful growl adding a black / death metal tint to the whole.
