Exit 27

Exit 27 is an Alternative Indie Rock Band from South Florida. Originally formed back in 2014 by Jonathan Hilel (Squid) & Steven Levine. During this time, the band was in a developmental phase, writing songs, recruiting, & changing line ups. The band played their first official show in May 2017 and continued to release their first EP “The Pink EP” in February 2018. With influences of 70s Rock, Funk, Alternative Rock, Indie Rock, Jazz & Latin, Exit 27 delivers a Fresh & Funky sound with just the right amount of edge that leaves you with a sense of nostalgia. Exit 27 consisted of Jonathan Hilel (Squid) - Lead Vocals, Robert Murray - Drums, and Angel Jaramillo - Bass. Together they released the band’s first album “Looking In” which was released on April 2020 and are were working on writing their second album as well as gigging as much as possible. After a long unexpected hiatus due to the global pandemic outbreak, Exit 27 currently consists of Jonathan Hilel(Squid) - Lead Vocals, Robert Murray - Drums, Alejandro Sorensen - Guitar, and Nathalia Balderrama - Bass. Together they plan on picking up where the band left off in 2020, and are continuing to work on the bands' second album as well as gigging as much as possible.
