Expo 88 is the project from Meanjin/Brisbane based composer and producer, Luke Cuerel.
Armed with synthesizers, drums and a wealth of samples from his life as a jazz saxophonist and
composer, the project combines Luke’s fondness for electronica with the textures of jazz and
orchestral music. His production style moves from ambient and textural to dark and pulsating, all
while focussing on crafting a mood inspired by places and histories of the city he calls home.
