Extinct was a four-piece punk rock band from Luxembourg founded in 2001. Their sound was similar to bands (and influences) like The Unseen, Anti-Flag, The Clash, Black Flag, Strike Anywhere. Extinct played shows with bands like Marky Ramone's Blitzkrieg, The Unseen, Adolescents, The Casualties, The Bloodhound Gang Leftover Crack, Stockyard Stoics, , The Generators, The Krays, Mad Sin, Total Chaos, Consumed, Star Fucking Hipsters, The Rabble, Millencolin, Obtrusive, Frontkick, 2nd District, Rat City Riot, Defdump, Riot Brigade and many more. During their active time, eXtinct played hundreds of shows in Luxembourg, France, Belgium, Germany and in Eastern Europe. Their debut full-length record ‘Nobody Cares, Nobody Changes’ was released in 2004 by Winged Skull Records. In 2007 they released their second album ‘Kill or be Killed’. In 2009 'This Place EP' was released on Granny Records.
