Eye of the High are Funk and Soul production duo Glen Scott and Femi Fem. The team’s passion for all things soulful brought them together as a songwriting and high end production team. While working on solo projects during his Young Disciples days Femi invited Glen Scott to collaborate on some productions and remixes in the mid 1990s. Justin Timberlake, Mary J. Blige, Des’ree, D'Influence, The Pasadenas and Beyoncé were just some of the artist worked for during this time. Glen went on to collaborate, co-write & produce Craig David, Beverley Knight, James Blunt & Eric Bibb
The main ethos of the Eye of the High 🙌🏾 is to create musical moments that move the mind, body & soul. The melting pot of London’s many musical and cultural flavours along with the Jamaican, Sierra Leone & London backgrounds of the duo make for creative hotchpotch that taste familiar yet brand new. Glen is a multi-instrumentalist & accomplished engineer with both the team adding character to the sound with seamless programming & funk based ideals/ideas. Femi Fem has dj'd at events for Prince, Janet Jackson, Stella McCartney, Jade Jagger, & Gucci. Femi has also produced catwalk show music for fashion designers such as Ozwald Boateng, Katherine Hamnett, Julien MacDonald and Bella Freud. Also running the MOBO Award-winning, Rotation at London’s Subterranea & you can hear Femi Fem every Sunday night as he hosts his own DAB radio show from 7pm-9pm on www.mi-soul.com
