Fabian Friend

Fabian Friend is a german synthpop artist and tech geek. As an educated audio engineer he loves analogue sounds, like synthesizers from the 80s and gives them a zeitgeisty touch. "At times I repair old synths, like my JUNO 106. As soon as I press a key, you are back in the past for decades. It's like time travelling. And I take these dreamy, warm sounds back to today. Instead of back to the future, I'm travelling forward to the past."

Fabian is aiming a mixture of analogue and digital atmosphere. Therefore he plays the guitar, bass, keys, percussion, sings and does the songwriting and production. To give his songs an individual touch he collabs with musicians all over the world. For example in his debut single Talk Tonight he worked with an american saxophone player and a german drummer. I chose my lastname Friend as I see myself as a citizen of the world. This is why it makes me so happy to see that my music is listened by people from all over the world.
