Fabio Bartoloni has a DMA in Guitar Performance from Arizona State University, working as Professor Frank Koonce's TA. He was a recipient of the Richard and Babette Burns scholarship and was chosen Outstanding Graduate. Obtaining a MM degree from Sao Paulo State University, Fabio has performed in many world cities: London, Paris, Cambridge, Laon, Darmstadt, Mannheim, La Paz, Sao Paulo, Phoenix, Scottsdale and Rio de Janeiro, among others. He performs both as a soloist and as part of chamber music groups such as Duo Lucatelle-Bartoloni (collaborating with his wife Daniela Lucatelle as pianist), Duo Bartoloni (guitar duo with his father Giacomo Bartoloni) and Tau Guitar Quartet. As a member of these groups his discography includes several acclaimed albums such as “Sonatas & Fantasias”, “Brasileiro”, “Cordas Brasileiras” and “5 por 2”. His first solo album, “Retratos, Sonatas e Canções”, features the first commercial recordings of works by Brazilian composers Giacomo Bartoloni, João Luiz (Brasil Guitar Duo) and Daniel Murray.
