Fabio De Maddalena

Fabio is a self taught Italian composer who has lived in the UK for the past seven years and gravitates towards meaningful projects that address issues such as climate change, regeneration and conservation.
Fabio thrives not only on travelling and the inspiration that different cultures and landscapes provide, but also in delving into many different genres of music. This can be seen in the varied projects he has taken on and compositions he has created from horror, jazz and epic cinematic scores to electronic and emotive stripped back piano pieces.
Fabio has worked for The BBC creating the score for The Audacious, a documentary series chronicling audacious people from around the world who are taking positive action and making the changes we need for a brighter tomorrow. He has also scored the music for the WWF (World Wildlife Fund) UK Nature Restoration series following individuals tackling the regeneration and conservation of our planet.
Fabio scored the music for a documentary called 'Kelp' which is very close to his heart as it looks at how kelp farming can drastically combat climate change and the issues with single use plastic.

He has also been a sound mixer on a collection of podcasts including Culture in the Craft which interviews people from minorities working within the film industry.

Fabio has recently started exploring new sounds with his personal electronic music project <a href="spotify:artist:6QOiy6NKq4zYh9PTGEwqGJ" data-name="Maple Sun">Maple Sun</a>.
