Fabulae Dramatis is a Colombian|Belgian Progressive|Latin Metal band. Founded in 2011 in Antwerp, Belgium. With three full-length albums: “Om” (2012), “Solar Time’s Fables” (2017) & Violenta (2024) the band is a Metal act of heavy world music. Fronted by a powerhouse female vocalist with a wide vocal range, seamlessly transitioning from modern heavy metal screams to operatic vocals, growls, and traditional South American chants, creating a unique style and artistry.
Award winner for ‘Best Dance Music Video’ at the Cannes Film Awards 2023, France; ‘Best Costume’ at the Rome Music Video Awards 2021, for ‘Best Sound & Music’ at Wild Sound Film Festival Canada/USA 2020; and places as finalist and other official nominations from other film festivals in England, Germany, Ireland, France and Italy.
Their music was described by Classic Rock Society magazine as having “deep thought and insular attention” paid to it with “the spirits of Zappa and Beefheart”.
