Born and raised in the Island of Jamaica, Fahda Romie is a “quasar” dedicated to expressing his journey and experiences through musical art forms. Fahda Romie’s style includes hardcore Jamaican dancehall trap music infused with American rap/trap styles and UK drill patterns; making him quite versatile.
Born Jerome Downes, Fahda Romie grew up in May Pen Clarendon where he earned the name “Fahda Romie” from friends and family. Today Fahda Romie works with a talented producer in Jamaica, Codelank and together they have created great tracks in various genres. The youngster had decided to compile some of the tracks for his EP, which he released on December 31st 2020, for celebrating the anniversary of his first satisfactory release, “Recommend” back in December 31, 2019. The EP has songs like Recommend, Vortex, Quasar Freestyle, Program, Sheikh up di place, Drilling, East Rave.
