Artisan melody makers, Faiblesse Parfaite is a band-adventure, a story in the making.

From their hideaway in the English Midlands, Gaël & Caty craft tunes with a conscience. Luring you in with catchy melodies and clear, ingenuous vocals until the lyrics hit home. Tales of let downs, discrimination, enduring love that’s worth it but hard work, there is always more that meet the ear. Caty started singing as a little girl in France and the bug never went away. It took England and pub-rock to let her voice loose in the world and that’s where Gaël comes in: a seasoned musician, having honed his skills in student bands in Paris, he joined the Midlands scene in 2001 as Blue Nation’s bass player. No grubby Birmingham stage floorboard escaped the heavy stomping and brow sweat of this energetic rock-mod outfit.

Fast forward too many years of enlightening and bruising life experiences - you know the ones - Caty & Gaël start covering classics of Chanson Française to pass time while the kids are at Saturday school. It could only go one way…. Within two months they had started working on original material and the first album dropped within a year: happy-go-lucky, spontaneous and steeped in these life experiences left to simmer for too long.
