Fake ID fittingly hails from the home of rock ’n’ roll, Cleveland, Ohio. Cleveland Magazine named Fake ID Cleveland’s “Best Unexpected Rock Stars” in its 2019 Best of Cleveland issue. Most recently, Fake ID reached the finals of the 24th Annual Tri-C High School Rock Off.
Fake ID has played two successive years at Ohio Bike Week, each to rave reviews. Scene Magazine featured Fake ID in a February 2019 cover story. And, the band has played sets in clubs all over Northeast Ohio.
They are now hard at work crafting original songs that reflect the diverse musicals tastes of each of the band’s members. They been busy playing these songs out live, and plan to get into the studio as soon as they can to record their first EP.
Fake ID is Norah Hyman (vocals), Ryan McKendry (guitar), Ty Jacobs (guitar), Carson Siegel (bass), and Ethan Ventresca (drums).
Their first single, “Good Times,” is available now.
