Dwelling in a dark, western infused version of alternative rock, Fake Swans are a four-piece from London. Formed in 2014 and consisting of guitarist James Neill, drummer Hannah Fyall, Sonny Ellwood on bass and vocals by Pete Wiltschinsky, Fake Swans began at New College Stamford, eventually relocating to London to continue studying music at University of Westminster. Their songs combine raw vocals with vicious, fuzzy tones. Fake Swans have spent the last year playing shows all across London, at renowned venues including Notting Hill Arts Club, which has hosted artists such as Amy Winehouse and The Libertines.
Their debut single Sorry is a melancholic western ballad, accompanied by two dark, thunderous tracks, both uniquely named from their cryptic lyrics.
