On the John Agnello-produced Lonely No More, the Cleveland quartet Falling Stars nod to The Replacements and Dinosaur Jr., in the form of shoegaze-tinged grunge, barnstorming roots-rock, and swinging pub rock. Co-founded by vocalist-guitarist Christopher Allen and guitarist Tim Parnin in the mid-2010s, the band debuted with 2017’s Stranded in the Future, leading to gigs opening for Drive-By Truckers, The Lemonheads, The Smithereens, and The Dream Syndicate.
