Family Of Geniuses... once hailed as "The best band in Chicago, possibly the world" by someone so famous and universally adored, it would be, quite frankly, tasteless and very much beneath us to drop their name for the sake of publicity or some shallow marketing scheme. We are, at our core, very humble, very stable geniuses.


Family Of Geniuses... our origins are very interesting, without a doubt, but we’re livin’ in the present, baby! Presently, Family Of Geniuses - primarily based in Chicago, IL - has evolved into a diverse collective of artists and collaborators. I’m talking *super* diverse. We'll literally let anyone play or write with us. Between you and me, it's gotten a bit outrageous - which we dig.


The result of Family Of Geniuses’ array of personalities and musical influences is an eclectic, yet familiar, pop sound and a live show with a rock-and-roll energy. One review of our first performance in Boston, MA summed up this sentiment quite well, describing FOG as “disco-boogie meets funky new-wave punk”. 

I think I said already that we are a humble group, but come on, that's a fucking raaaaaaad review, man!
