Over the summer of 2016, two producers from very different backgrounds came together to birth their collaborative brainchild, Fancy Cars; Alan Notkin bringing his hard hitting dance background to Brandon Paddock’s multiplatinum pop flair. That year, the pair’s addictive sound garnered millions of plays and landed them deals with label giants like Universal/Polydor and Majestic Casual Records. Their tracks “I’ll Follow” and “Belong to U” have been stand out singles to date, and radio chart topper Bazzi lends his vocals to the carefree “Fun”.
Since leaving Universal, Fancy Cars have found new inspiration by pivoting to a more electronic oriented sound with their music. Their latest releases through disco:wax have reflected this change as they steer closer to their future project defining sound.
