Faris Hilton is a music producer and DJ, rooted in Indonesian and Palestinian heritage. From his home base in Germany, he has crafted a distinct sonic identity that thrives in the electronic music landscape. Known for his house sets enriched with elements of funky disco and resonant, rolling basslines, his style also incorporates minimal and microhouse influences.
From early childhood, Faris developed musical skills, mastering the piano and drums. While he was enamored with music, he didn't initially see himself in a traditional musician's role. In his formative years, he found inspiration in acid jazz and Latin American rhythms. By the mid-90s, Faris had discovered the enthralling world of UK and French House, which became a major influence.
Even during his school years in the early 2000s, Faris couldn't resist the pull of music. He began organizing parties and performing in bars purely out of his love for the craft. After completing his studies, he plunged back into his passion, spinning tracks professionally in clubs and off-locations in Cologne.
Collaborating with friends, he co-founded the label "Late Nite Snacks," releasing his unique blend of sounds on multiple platforms such as LGN, Like Records, Samani Music, Lauter Records, and Snort Records. He is known for being a musical storyteller, setting the dancefloor ablaze with his funky, bass-heavy grooves in sets that last all night long.
