As Hip Hop enters a new era, music is hit with questions of authenticity. Fastlane Recordz unleashes the next generation of quality street music and its first artist named LORD. LORD is an upcoming artist from Hempstead, Long Island who now resides in Newport News, Virginia. LORD is the CEO of FastLane Recordz, as well as CEO/Owner of Splash Brothers Entertainment, LLC which is his in house production company.
His first single release, officially from Fastlane Recordz was entitled, "Angel" featuring Treie; this is a little something for the streets, to demonstrate that quality street music, with no gimmicks, still exists in a world of copycats. Angel is a song that conveys the message that, no matter the path we choose in life, we always have an Angel watching over us! Based on his life experiences, what better way to introduce him to the world as we build anticipation on the album.
Lord does not just see himself as an artist, but as a leader of men. He hopes to help up and coming artists break out and break through, with the same energy and mindset that he uses as he works to build a reputable name in the music industry. Lord is positioning himself to begin signing new artists that are ready to work smart, invest the time and have a willingness to learn . Lord is currently working with such artists as Boosie Badazz, Uncle Murda, Don Q; in addition, he has produced tracks for each of them including T-Rell.
