Father Mountain & His Tin Can Band is an indie folk and bluegrass collective, made up of an ever-changing roster of talented musicians led by songwriter and bandleader Phil Tice. Like ELO, for Appalachia Folk!
Phil lives in Los Angeles, CA, but originally hails from the great Garden State of New Jersey. He fell in love with nature and Americana music traversing the East Coast from Maine to West Virginia during his youth. With family in farmland Pennsylvania, Upstate New York, and all the way across the pond in England and Ireland, Phil infuses those inspirations – from Country to Celtic – into Father Mountain's releases.
