Fawn River is an indie rock band rooted in Michigan, currently based in Grand Rapids. The core members are John Damron (vocals/guitar) and Leonard Bauder (drums). The band’s lineup has shifted over time, but the dynamic of the band remains the same. The friends now living far away stay in the photos, just in case they make their return.
Fawn River began in White Pigeon, a small town tucked into the southwest corner of Michigan. A river running through the town gave the band its name, replacing their first (and very temporary) name, “The Project.” Which totally sucked.
