Born from the rockstar dreams of two Jewish teens sneaking out on shabbat to catch punk shows around Memphis, Fearless Dave and the Tsunamis fuses psychedelic, post-punk, and alternative rock. The result? Catchy melodies, hypnotic riffs, and a captivating and energetic live show.
Cofounders “Fearless Dave” Silbermann and Lavi “The Tsunami” Tsuna began performing as a two-piece under the FDaT banner in 2018, swapping lead vocals while Tsuna’s rhythm guitar laid the foundation for Silbermann's lead. With the addition of Jalen Jones-LaSane on the drum throne in 2019, the trio began to define their signature sound. In 2023, Hezekiah Howze joined the band as king of keys, adding a fresh dimension to fan favorites such as Fly Swatter and What's Her Name. And in 2024, the line-up finalized with bassist Montana Jones laying down the low end.
