Boys from Beccles (and beyond) move to Big Smoke and battle boredom by becoming band; Friends leave, friends come back, other found friends form Fearless Vampire Killers; Gigging and grafting in London and London+, playing on anything that remotely resembles a stage; Slap on a bit of make-up, squeeze yourself into Primark skinny jeans & blazer and apply DIY pyrotechnics (aka talcum powder) and Fearless Vampire Killers find their footing; Spinal Tap syndrome kicks in but with Drum Meister No. 4 things begin to kick off (and not just ‘cos he likes ball-ball-ball, footy-footy-footy) ; The rambunctious rascals release a splurge of conceptual art – EPs, Books, comics – and start to win a fierce (but very friendly) fanbase; Music gets made, tours get toured, drinks get drank and drunk some more; Dreams are realised – Brixton Academy, Download, recording and touring in the US, touring Europe; Dreams are dashed – bad decisions, parasitic self-doubt, rejection on repeat; Band of boys (now brothers) burn-out and backs are turned (on others’ backs); RIP FVK; Five years happen; Friendships are mended and tended; Music is missed; Music is made; Plans are plotted; New bio is written; PRESENT DAY
