Formed in 2015 by brothers Ellis & Aidan Holland, Fears of Abandonment is the oldest group in their local music collective known as "The Chow mein Triad" with bands the likes of Two Hour Shower, Very Sorry, and Carboretum. The band started off playing pop punk covers at their high school in Pasadena but quickly evolved into writing their own material. In 2017 the duo was joined by bassist James Fall, and they began branching out to larger and larger local venues. Mixing dark and woeful lyrics with upbeat pop hooks and melodies, Fears of Abandonment is sure to bring out the inner Emo kid in anyone willing to give them a listen.
