Born and raised in the nineties in Córdoba, Argentina, now a globetrotter, Fede Vilchez is a multi-instrumentalist and a singer-songwriter that has been playing music with different projects for over 20 years.
Whether closing a festival main stage with The F in Band, performing with his instrumental jazz-rock trio <a href="spotify:album:0m50SYFud0jrMqs8sA7b2C" data-name="Quimera">Quimera</a>, or playing solo at a local venue, Federico “Fede” Vilchez still remembers learning his first chords from his father el Negro Vilchez, somewhere next to a river as a young teenager.
After graduating from La Colmena music school in 2014, Fede headed to Mexico for his third international tour, and has been touring and living in North America ever since. He is now based in British Columbia.
