Felix Schneider-Restschikow is a German jazz pianist and composer whose music weaves together threads from modern jazz, European folk traditions, and Latin American roots. Trained in Würzburg and Valencia, his sound is shaped by lyrical melodies, rhythmic intricacy, and a deep sense of storytelling through music.
His artistic voice is rooted in his experience with projects such as Castillo Kazaki, La Yeta, Raniin-Trio, his own Trio (FSR-Trio), and his collaborations with Kurdish saz player Hussien Mahmoud. Whether exploring the landscapes of Argentine folklore, the pulse of Balkan rhythms, or meditative improvisation, his work consistently crosses genre boundaries with elegance and purpose.
