Felix Wong-Hayes

Felix Wong-Hayes is a composer, lyricist, sampler, and producer.  He is founder of the independent label YellowNation Records and of YellowNation that began as an anti-bullying, anti-drug, anti-racist, and anti-gang violence social collective in Thunder Bay, Ontario.  Born into a creative, musical family, with CBC radio as the soundtrack to his days, feeding his eclectic taste in music and art, he began studying piano at age four.  An avid writer, Felix uses his lyrics as a way to express his own experiences and ethics as well as a means to advance social causes he believes in passionately, to give voice to BIPOC people and those in crisis in Thunder Bay and beyond who face violence, substance abuse, and discrimination.
