Born in March 8, 1996 in Ankara, where she got her start in music with local musicians, Feride Hilal Akın made her stage debut at the age of 17. She first engaged the large public through social media by posting music covers videos online. Millions of views of her performances got her to sign her first contract with the record company DMC in 2016. Her first song “Bilir Mi” was issued in 2017 featuring the band Enbe, followed by “Şehrin Yolu” and “Gizli Aşk” in 2018. Along her musical career, Akın also performed as an actress in the TV series “Yeni Gelin” from 2016 to 2018 as well as the Netflix film “Kafalar Karışık” in 2018. Inspired by international sounds and mainly Hip Hop music, Feride Hilal Akın recently revealed herself in her own music style. Her hit ”Yok Yok” issued in 2019 has been at the top of the music lists during weeks and went over 200 million views on Youtube, establishing her as a fully-fledged music artist. As a new generation artist, Feride Hilal Akın likes challenging herself and experimenting new musical genres. Her latest releases “Kim”, a mix of Afrobeat and Dancehall and “Tutku” reveal her musical development.
