Fernando Magrão ingressou no mundo musical no início dos anos 1980, em Belo Horizonte, participando dos festivais de música, tão comuns na época. Compositor, cantor e violonista, é membro do grupo Morro Velho desde a sua criação, em 1981.
Além da atividade com o grupo Morro Velho, a partir de 2019, vem se dedicando em gravar, produzir e promover seus trabalhos de compositor.

Fernando Magrão entered the musical world in the early 1980’s, in Belo Horizonte, participating in music festivals, so common at the time. Composer, singer and guitarist, he has been a member of the Morro Velho group since it’s creation in 1981.
In addition to the activity with the Morro Velho, starting in 2019, he has been dedicating himself to recording, producing and promoting his works as a composer.
