Festering Gash

Festering Gash is a death metal/goregrind two piece from the south of England, formed by ex-Dystopian Wrath members Mike Carroll (bass, drum programming) and Ben Donaldson (vocals, guitar and drum programming). Festering Gash plays a disgusting blend of death metal, grindcore and gory silliness inspired by low-budget horror films.

2018 saw the release of Festering Gash's debut EP "A Purulent Offering". This quickly gained attention across underground extreme metal social media and had the track "Regurgitated Mermaid" featured on the "Compilation of Gore" album released by Clostridium Difficile Recordings.

EP 2, "Not That Long Ago in a Basement Not Far Away" followed in 2019, bringing more complex songs in places whilst retaining the classic grindcore brevity in others. The historical biography track, "Sawney Bean Prefers it Lean" featured on the digital release "Sick Musik to Your Guts Compilation Vol. 3".Continuing the annual tradition, Festering Gash will release their third EP, "Perverse Abominations" on 19/06/20, and have once again refined the gore-mula to produce their sickest and best sounding release yet. www.festeringgash.co.uk
